Become a Host Family

The McCall Smokejumpers Hockey organization is looking for some local families willing to open up their hearts and homes to these young athletes for the 2025/26 season.

These young men range in age from 16-20 yrs old and will be coming to McCall from all over the world. For some of them, this is their first time away from home.

Host (billet) families are responsible for providing a bedroom/bathroom and food in the home. The boys are responsible for all of their own transportation.

While not traveling on road trips, the team spends most of their time working, going to school, and participating in community service events.

Host families receive monthly compensation, season passes to all home games, and inclusion in special team activities. In addition, and most importantly, is the bond and memories created between players and their billet families that will last a lifetime.
